September 26, 2026 @ 10:00 am: Had I A Dove: Appalachian Poets on the Helene Flood commemorative reading in Boone, NC. Exact location TBD. 

Wordkeepers: Ashe County's longest running event that celebrates and shares the written word. Held at the stunning Ashe County Arts Council building every other month, typically the third or fourth Saturday starting at 4:00 pm sharp, but come by 3:30 for live music.
